A Block

I'm not really sure what to write about today. It's been rather uneventful here today -- thankfully!

Anyway, I thought I'd share a picture of my son.
Yes, I know. I'm not looking forward to the orthodontist bills either.

And since we got the new floors, he's been either asking for the old white ones back or telling me how beautiful they are.

I don't know why, but neither of the boys deals with "change" very well. Josh keeps asking "what else are we going to change?!" We moved the PC out of the Dining Room and into a nook in the kitchen. It seems to work but Josh just can't seem to get his head around the fact that we got a new TV, rearranged the living room, brought the "downstairs toys" up to the toy room, got new floors and now we've moved his PC!

As an adult, I think these are pretty minor changes. As a 6 and 2 year old, it seems weird that they are HUGE!

And for those of you interested.... Sam has been asking for this (perhaps not) and this (hint, hint Grandmother and Grampa) for his birthday or Christmas. Along with everything else he sees, but these two EVERY TIME.

  1. That picture is priceless!! I don't know which is more funny - the photo or him wanting the baby doll! Luckily both of my son and daughter used stuffed animals as "babies' even when people mistakenly (I hate dolls) bought them for my daughter!

  2. LOL, this is a cute picture! And I can actually see all of those (albeit minor) changes making the kids wonder, "what's next"? Kids notice EVERYTHING! My daughter moves her bedroom furniture around at least 4 times a year....and changes her paint color/decor at least 1-2 times a year! Drives us all nuts! This from a child who doesn't do well with 'change' either, go figure!

  3. what a cute picture!

I want to start commenting on the Blogs I have found at Maya's Mom so I can get more familiar with all of you and the Blogging World!

I'm still trying to figure out
NearCircle or whatever it's called, that one has been hard for me to navigate. It seems the only web site I like these days and pretty much understand is Maya's Mom!!

  4. Change is so hard for little people. My oldest once heard my hubby and I talking about "Someday if we ever move" and burst into tears. He thought we were moving and that it meant he would loose all of his toys. Kids are too funny!
