Dressing the Turkey

Sam brought home some "Homework" last week.

We had to make a "Family Turkey." He came home with the blank turkey and the brown background and the assignment was to decorate the turkey as a "family" using whatever we had around the house.

Yesterday I took the boys to Michael's to get some stuff we need for Josh's Christmas Pageant costume (he's a bell... more on that another day) and we got some things to decorate the turkey too.

This morning we all took part in decorating the turkey and here is the finished product....

There is glitter on there too, not sure if you can see it or not.
I don't know about you, but I'm pretty impressed with the outcome! I'm sure it will be the best dressed turkey in his class!

  3. Wow! I'm impressed! Really. My 2 year old is so not into art and glue. He likes to scribble on walls, but I don't think that counts. His art projects at school always look like someone just tossed a bunch of glue and paper together and called it a day.
