We are spending Thanksgiving with just the four of us. It's times like this when it's both a blessing and a pain to live so far away from our families.
It's nice to not have to "keep a schedule" and try and figure out how to entertain a houseful of people (not to mention cleaning the house before and after). And it's nice to spend the day with just the four of us as a family. Especially after Rich's crazy work schedule earlier this month.
But on the otherhand, I do miss our families on holidays and wish we could see them more often -- or that it wasn't such an ordeal to go visit. Eventhough we can't be together, I am still thankful to have them in our lives!
